Acquire only if the finale clearly needs a short son→mother coda after picture lock. Done when: Either acquired/used or explicitly skipped.

Open the existing project and immediately File > Save As to v003 before editing.

Right-click age-seven clip > Properties. Use 23.976 if reported 23.976; use 24.000 if true 24.000. Create every chapter/master at the same timebase.

Relationship across time; courtship/anniversary/partnership, not generic weddings. Picture: 20 MAIN; use accepted anniversary context; omit rejected unrelated wedding frame. Motion target: 2–3.

Emotional center: babies/young kids → adolescence → adult sons. Picture: 29 MAIN, ordered by sons' life stages; sisters/niece rejects stay out. Motion target: 4–6.

Birthdays, holidays, rituals, multigenerational family. Picture: 14 MAIN; avoid repetitive cake/table images; use existing birthday video. Motion target: 3–4.

Expansion: friends, travel, movement, California, joy. Picture: 36 MAIN but prune posed/repetitive restaurant shots in edit. Motion target: 5–7.

Recent warmth/intimacy; taper energy and prepare return to childhood. Picture: 18 MAIN; travel-like material already moved out. Motion target: 2–3.

Use PREMIERE_VIDEO_CUES.csv. In Source Monitor: set listed In/Out → I/O → Clip > Make Subclip. Preserve source audio when emotionally useful.

Skim only specified windows in MOTION_AUDITION_DISCOVERY.csv. Promote roughly 8–12 clips that add action/voice; remove 1–3 redundant stills per promoted clip.
